Portraits are not reserved for the rich & famous with people from all walks of life inspired to capture an image of themselves, their family, a friend or a pet to be memorialised for all time. With portraits I aim to express the inner essence and significance of the subject not just a literal likeness. I work from life or photograph and in a wide range of mediums including oil, water colour, ink, pencil, charcoal pastel and mixed media.
